To get to The Kealakekua Bay Houses from the Kona airport.

Leaving the airport turn right and go south on HWY. 19.
After mile marker 94, the Natural Energy Lab will be on your right.
After mile marker 96, the new industrial area is on the left side of the road.
After 97, Honokohau harbor.
After 99, Makalapua shopping center. ( the first set of lights )
Kailua Kona traffic lights are at mile marker 100.
Keep going straight, ( south ). The hwy. is now #11

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR MILE MARKER SIGNS ARE NOW ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD AND THEY COUNT DOWN FROM 122

After 118, King Kamehmeha HWY. (traffic lights )
After 116, scenic point on your right.
After 114, Honalo town. A Large Gas Station is on your left. Honalo runs into Kainaliu town.
After 112, Kealakekua town.
Over a mile past Kealakekua, look for CHEVRON GAS STATION on your left, and slow down! Look for Kealakekua Bay sign and go right on Napoopoo Road. This will take you 4 miles down to the ocean. (be sure to bear right st sharp curve--do not get onto Middle Ke'ei Rd.). When you reach the stop sign at the bottom of Napoopoo Rd. at the ocean-wharf, turn left (this is Pu’uhonua Road, no street sign till later).

You will pass Manini Beach Road on your right. Turn left into next driveway after Manini Beach Road, directly across from a long rock wall. Address is 82-6286 Puuhonua Rd. Captain Cook, HI 96704--posted on a mailbox near Manini Beach Rd. well before our driveway.

K-Bay Vacation Home is #3 on the map. It includes the COTTAGE, MAIN HOUSE, PENTHOUSE and the GETAWAY RETREAT. Please try not to disturb people in House 1 or 2.

The driveway you turn into is paved and turns into gravel. The first turn to the right takes you to the COTTAGE and RETREAT. Park near the bamboo fenced gate on the left and enter the private yard through that gate. Enter the COTTAGE door in front of you and take stairs up to the second story. For the RETREAT GETAWAY, take another second gate to the right and follow the path through a garden to stairs up to second story.

For the MAIN HOUSE and the PENTHOUSE, from the main driveway, go straight through 2 tall rock pillars into a courtyard and park on the right facing the 3 story house. Take stairs on your right to second story for the MAIN HOUSE. Take stairs on left through a security door and up 3 stories to the PENTHOUSE.
